Description
2021 will be our 4th year running the 2 day clinic and 2nd year running on full ice. Only O-skills players on ice – 1.25 hours per session. This clinic is designed as a progression to the Stickhandling camp we host. Players must be average to above average stickhandlers to be able to grasps concepts related to this clinic
This clinic will focus on offensive tactics which includes creating space for yourself while attacking the net, creating mismatches to exploit defencemen and goal scoring skills which will result in a higher offensive output this season.
Forwards will be taught both individual offensive tactics when in the offensive zone. Odd numbered rush entries (2 on 1s/3 on 2s), along with battling in corners, creating odd man opportunities and space within the zone, attacking the dots, quick feet, cycling with a purpose, goal scoring, moving to open space, and communication will be addressed throughout the week.
(FULL) It is open to Atom – Midget age groups. Complimentary GT Hockey jersey included.
